Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of
the BJP State executive committee meeting here on Thursday, Mr. Rao
said necessary care was being taken to avoid inconvenience to devotees
by learning from the lapses that took place in the 2003 when the
Pushkaram was last held.
He said nearly 25,000 acres
of land belonging to various temples in A.P.were found to be either
encroached or mired in court cases. The government intended to reclaim
these lands. A committee headed by retired judges of the High Court was
planned to be constituted for the purpose, Mr. Rao added.
