The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Wednesday has finalised a list of 878 barbers who shall render free services at various tonsuring centres including at the main Kalyanakatta (tonsuring centre) for four months at Tirumala.The barbers would render free tonsuring services under the TTDs Kalyanakattas Sevakulu scheme from September 18 to January 20. Of the finalised 878 candidates while 671 are male the rest are women. The TTD claimed that the finalised list of the barbers has also been made available on its official website www.tirumala.org. It also appealed to the candidates to strictly abide with its restrictions regarding the do’s and don’ts while in service at Tirumala and bring a photostat copy of their Aadhaar card along with the original to submit the same at the Kalyanakatta’s Deputy Executive Officer’s office on the first day of their reporting.
